The Longview Center, located on the grounds of Christian Home Baptist Church, is a new venue in the Hampton Roads area where you can host anniversaries, wedding receptions, retirement banquets, birthday celebrations and a host of other events.
It is a 10,694 square foot building, with marble floor tile in the foyer, elegant men and women restrooms, live floral arrangements in foyer and along the hallway, carpeted banquet area, commercial kitchen with state-of-the art kitchen equipment, carpeted banquet area, Internet Access, and portable sound system.
The Longview Center also offers catering services provided by a certified chef with 35 years of culinary experience, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales. Your guest can select from two standard plated entrées — (1) baked chicken, served with buttered potatoes and a broccoli, green beans, mushroom and julienne peppers medley or (2) pan seared Cajun style salmon with herb, mushrooms, risotto sautéed asparagus, baby carrots and shallots. All entrees come with salad, dessert and beverage. You also have the option of meeting with the chef and customizing your menu.

All events at The Longview Center are served with dinnerware, glassware and flatware. An assortment of colors for table linen is also provided and included in your rental price. If you would desire decorating assistance for your event, this service can also be provided by The Longview Center.
The cost for the standard entrée of baked chicken is $31.00 per person and for salmon it is $33.00 per person. This does not include gratuity and taxes.
